My Favorite Project of 2011

I was looking back on all my projects for 2011. Usually, I work up a project, take a picture of it with my phone then text or e-mail it to friends and family. If I post my completed projects here I can save the trouble of texting and or e-mailing the same picture to various individuals. You know who you are.

Anyway, here I am thinking about my projects for 2011 and I draw a complete blank (which seems to be the case when I open up blogger ...... chirp, chirp, chirp.....nothing). I am forced to refer back to my phone to remember what I have been doing with myself for the past year. Seriously, does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

My very favorite project of the year is my headboard which I made by myself.

Count Olaf did help me fasten the legs to the headboard but I did everything else including the tufting. I now hate tufting with a passion.

I am not going to show you how I did it because the Internet is full of tutorials. I used the top of a wing back chair and the Count's electric guitar to obtain the shape.

I love it, sometimes I just go to my bedroom door and stare at it.

I hope no one would accuse me of undercushioning.
